ABOUT US

"Everyone deserves support that meets them where they are."

A note from Jessa

Like so many new parents, returning to work after my son was born felt impossible. He was just a few months old and facing a medical challenge—and the idea of being apart from him, even while working from home with full-time care, was gut-wrenching.

I constantly wondered if I was doing enough. I didn’t want to give up the parts of parenting that mattered most to me: feeding him during the day, checking in, reconnecting through the little rituals we both loved.

While I felt deep joy and contentment as a new mother, I also struggled with the weight of that transition.

Thankfully, I had the support of an incredible husband, family and caregivers—people who gave me the space to define what I needed and how I wanted to show up as a mom.

That's what sparked the idea for Playcare.

I thought about all the parents who have walked this road before me—and all those still to come.

Everyone deserves support that meets them where they are. Support that adapts to their unique rhythm as a family. Support that allows them to stay connected to their children and to themselves.

I’ve seen firsthand that when those who care for children are resourced, respected, and trusted, they’re able to show up with presence. And when parents and caregivers thrive, children flourish.
